Sanjeev Pany said he dropped his 2006 Acura TSX at National Tire and Battery in the 2100 block of Louisiana Street on Sept. 21 for an alignment.
When he came there on Tuesday to pick it up, they said his car wasn't there.
"They said are you sure you left it here because we can't find it," Pany is indignant.
"They told me that NTB actually keeps their keys behind the counter. It's in the store so they're not in the car," Pany said. "They can't find my car, they can't find my keys so at that point the manager was like, I think your car's been stolen."
He called the police and reported an insurance claim.
There is no security cameras around their property and the police has no hitch to find the thief. The organisation refunded Pany only $450 he paid for a five-year alignment plan.
NTB company has to ensure safety and security of vehicles left in its care.
